I have broken my android wm8650 RJ45/2usb ports adapter and am battling locally to find a replacement.Is there some other way to connect to usb etc

for data.. there are apps that let you connect via wifi or bluetooth to PC. (some may require USB connection to setup)

for battery.. you will need to buy a desk charger with extra battery. (if they make it for your model)

SO, this is a 7" tablet you are talking about, right? Interesting, haven't seen a 7" tablet with an RJ45 port before. And no USB port?

hhhhmmm... maybe they have an adapter that plugs into the mini-US. that lets them plug in Ethernet cable and/or USB cable. so the adapter is broken ..not some outlet on the tablet?
