/chatTEMP/ folder

Just wondering if anybody can tell me what app is creating a folder called chatTEMP on my phone, I keep deleting it but it keeps coming back, im clueless and unsure if this is a virus on my phone.. any help would be appreciated.

I believe that chatTEMP folder may be created by the SnapChat application - do you happen to have and/or use that?

Surely this folder created by snap chat application for temp. store your chat history caches in your phone

That would require having snapchat. I don't have anything used for messages except Facebook messenger and the stock android messenger

These people don't know what they are talking about,I had the same question, "why does .chat_temp" keep popping up after it's deleted", so I investigated that shit. It has nothing to do with snapchat, is text messaging. You want actual proof? Delete the file, them have somebody text you while you have the done manager open, when they have sent you a text, view that text, then go back to the file manager and you will see that ".chat_temp is back I the file manager. This WILL help your inquiry. You're welcome

I’ve in mine File Manager a foulder called ”.chat_temp”.
I deleted the file and i’ve asked someone to text me.
I open the message, but i don’t find more the folder”.chat_temp” on my file manager.

I don’t have snapchat.
I only have whatsapp and the stock android messanger!
