Cheapest plan for two lines?

What is the cheapest plan for two lines on T-Mobile? I don't care too much for minutes but would like unlimited data and unlimited texting. Just trying to save money. I currently have Sprint and am paying $170 a month on two lines. Thanks for any ideas!

You will not find anything cheaper for unlimited data. If you can do with 5 GB of high speed data on each phone, however, as well as 100 minutes a month total, you can sign up for the $30 prepaid plan that comes with the above as well as unlimited texting. You will have to make 2 separate prepaid accounts, but at $30 each, two lines are $60.

Are you needing postpaid service? There are a couple of possibilities using prepaid to bring the price down more, especially since you typically only add sales tax and not the other fees. OTOH, you would need to buy your phones outright.

First, MetroPCS offers two true unlimited lines for $110. The disadvantage is you lose the tethering and data roaming that postpaid lines have.

Another option is 35orless. Technically their price is $120/month, but they have a "gimmick" that typically lowers the price by $7 per line or more each month, meaning you would likely be paying $106 or less most months. Their advantage is that you get data roaming, tethering, and conditional call forwarding (essentially the same service as T-Mobile postpaid), though they currently do not allow short codes.

Prepaid Cell Phone Plans, No Credit Check | Monthly 4G | T-Mobile

$30 per month--Unlimited web and text with 100 minutes talk
100 minutes talk | Unlimited text | First 5 GB at up to 4G speeds

Note: each plan would 5gb of high speed data. And after that, the unlimited data will be throttled.
Note 2: you can do all this on t-mobile web site. Including getting the SIMs. No need to involve Walmart in the slightest

The $30 plan is the one I think would work out for me. So it would be $60 for me and my lady and we'd get 100 minutes and unlimited data throttled after 5gb? Thank you all by the way

Also...another question: I wouldn't qualify for that T-Mobile buying out my contract deal if I went for the $30 prepaid plan correct?
