Cheapest way to make international calls

I will be traveling to Saint Maarten in September. I have a unlocked Samsung Vibrant and plan on purchasing a SIM card from Orange Wireless for local calls on the Island, unless they sell SIM cards with international credits already on them. I just want to know what would be the cheapest route for me to make calls back home. So far it looks like using the NIM BUZZ app and making the calls VOIP will be the cheapest way.

Any information is well appreciated.

If your friends and family are on Facebook you can use the Vonage Android app, the person on the other end can talk from the PC too!

You can download it direct from the Android Market place make sure you search for "Vonage for facebook" or it wont show up!

Rebtel could be an alternative for you, if you're not connected to wifi. International calls at a few cents per minute. I am satisfied with them and use it when i'm not wifi connected.

Google the name and search this website too, as i know that others have posted topics about them.
