Check file systems in android?

How to check/change file system of my android phone and my sdcard from android? (my phone is galaxy s4 and its not rooted). This is basic information that I expect to have every self respecting OS, what do you think ? Also how can I format my sd card to exfat which is faster as I heard ?

Is there a built in file manager on the S4?
Not sure what it may be called...perhaps "My Files"?

Or you can use an app to view files/folders on your device such as ES File Manager or Explorer, among others:)

As far as formatting your sd card, you can use this program to format it:
https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/

Just remember you will lose anything on the card when formatting, so save what you need;) (if you knew that already, sorry...)

And I don't know about it running faster when you format it to exfat, but perhaps others might.

Ah, I misunderstood you then, sorry :o
You wish to know what your file system is formatted at?

Edit: thanks Crash...that's what I get for sending a reply this late and not refreshing the page first :D

CrashDamage - File Explorer (aka FX) does NOT show what is type of file system of my phone or my sd card (never saw ntfs fat32 or ext3 4 or so on ) !!! I am still wondering how the hell I can check so basic thing about my phone .... If somebody know how to check the file system please help me(I have no adapters cardreaders and so on I want to check it from my phone !)

Of course FX will show filesystem types. Long-press > Details. You might find another free utility, System Panel, easier to use for this and it provides lotsa other useful info.
