Checkbook App??

Okay guys I've checked the forum and found a couple threads related to my question but they all seem to end without a definitive answer, so here goes.....

I'm looking for a checkbook register app that can be installed on 2 Android phones and will sync with one another. Example: My wife makes a purchase and records it in the application.....I am then able to open the app on my device and view the purchase she just recorded and vice versa. As I stated above, I have checked multiple recommendations from other threads, (e.g., cashflow, firewallet, financisto, etc...), but none of them are clear as to whether or not they sync between multiple devices.

Thanks in advance for any help you may provide.

Clearcheckbook will sync between multiple phones. It's web based so the app is always up to date. It is not fancy, mostly just a nice spread sheet, but I have been using for a while now and like it.

For something more full fledged (and pay-for) app, you can try SplashMoney. Used it on different platforms... runs budgets, spreadsheets and has a pretty good checkbook register. Haven't used the Android version, but I intend to go back to it soon...

If you want to make your own, HanDBase provides this functionality, and the ability to create other databases as well.

My Wife and I tried them all, to be fair she is the main user though.

Financisto is head and shoulders above any of the others, paid or free, for facilities.

As for sharing, well it's not totally sharing the same database live, but my wife created a shared folder with me on her Google Docs, and financisto has a feature built in to back up onto that.
As the folder is shared with me, I can "restore" a backup from there onto my machine, so I'm always fairly up-to date.

hope this helps.
