So... my wife bought this shitty-ass-crap-piece-of-plastic from ebay. It was almost unusable, coming to the user input with the "pen" that came with it. If you tried to type, you never knew what letter appeared on the screen, like a freaking lottery!!
So, she told me - flash it. I said, I dont think it'll work, hence it is a chinese sunnuvabiatch plate. She said DO IT, I dont give a feck about my 150 dollars. So we looked around some and she found something called Ubertweak on another forum. That one flashed in fine, but it was created for 7" screens, this one has 10.1" or something. So, now it worked like a charm, but the screen looked like someone puked on it. Or in it.
We tried to re-flash a standard floyo rom, but then something magically happened. A green android (d'uh) appears, and now - nothing else happens. I screwed the thing up, took out the 4GB micro-SD card, and powered it up, same thing, nothing happens.
We found some key-combination making the green droid turn into a helluva lot of numbers and letters, and then counting down, freezing at 1 sec.
I inserted the SD card into my computer, and it was EMPTY, totally blank!
Now, what to do? If i try to connect the plate to my PC, nuthing happens, I cant even turn the plate ON. The Power LED turns green, thats all that happenes. If I try to flash via the SD-card slot, nothing happens.
What to do know? Throw it away?
