Chomp SMS - getting 2 SMS instead of 1

hi all,

I installed Chomp SMS from play store and it is set to default, when SMS received it appears two times in Chomp SMS with two notifications.
Please help to overcome this situation.
regards.

what version do you have?
i've used 6.25 and latest 6.26, but everything was OK on both
google for prev ver
hint:
chompsms 6.25 donate

Did you set it as the default messenger? (I see you did). I had to disable the built-in messenger to stop that double nonsense. This was a Nexus 4, rooted, but stock ROM. Had to disable it on a rooted Nexus S, too.

I had the same problem with Android keyboard. I had either Smart or Hacker's keyboard set as default, and still got told to choose. If I disabled Android keyboard, neither would work. Phone was rooted, but finally installed Cyanogenmod, and that solved the problem.

OP said he/she's getting doubles in chompsms, not chomp+stock app..
offtopic:
don't have any custom kb issues on my sge2 stock... use both samsung and go keybrd... yes, I'm CM hater, cuz I was frustrated with tons of bugs on my old Spica :p

I got told to choose input from any app that used the keyboard. Android keyboard was grayed out and only Super was listed. Somehow, Android somehow decided that it needed to override my settings, and it sounds like something is not letting the phone give the OP his choice of default.

It's stopped since I installed Cyanogenmod so it had to be in the Android OS that was on the phone.

Try deleting the cache and resetting. If that does nothing, try deleting, reboot and reinstalling.
