ChompSMS and Notifications

Hi guys, so I just got my Hero a few days ago and decided to try out ChompSMS, I am now using this as my default SMS app and all is good except when I receive a text message I get 2 notifications, 1 is from ChompSMS and the other is from the default Android app, can someone tell me how to disable the notifications from the default SMS app?

open the native sms app, click menu, settings, scroll to notifications, turn them off. done.

Oh sweet done it! I'm an idiot for not thinking of doing that, I have been through every section of the "Settings" app and I didn't think it might actually be in the messages app itself lol, cheers for that
