ChompSMS group messanging

Hi. I am new to the forum. I have an HTC Wildfire S and am generally happy with it. There are the few bits that drive me mad but nothing's perfect.

I need group message capability as well as the ability to forward a group message. ChompSMS can handle it. HOWEVER, when I use the PEOPLE app to add/delete to my group, it seems that ChompSMS doesn't recognise it. However the native message app handles it fine. Plus when I choose GROUP as recipients, my group shows up 3x but WITHOUT the modification. This has been the case for a while and am quite puzzled. Any thoughts?
