Help Choose preferred mobile networks

Hey all,
I have the HTC Magic 32A on the Three network in Australia with CM6.0.0 (Froyo) on it. There are three different networks my phone can connect to. In order of *MY* preference, they are...

-Three's own 3G (UMTS i think, with HSDPA in some areas) network. It's called "3". I can use my data plan on this network. Coverage is a bit poor, so I can't always use this network.
-Three's own 2G network (GPRS, with EDGE in some areas). It's also called "3", and for some reason android identifies this network as roaming (it has the "R" on the network status icon). Obviously slower but I can still use my data plan. Good coverage.
-Telstra's 2G network (EDGE). It's called "Roaming" but it doesn't get the "R" on the status icon. Data usage costs me 50c/MB on this network (ouch!). It has the best coverage of the networks I can use

Unfortunately, my phone seems to prefer connecting to Telstra's network than Three's 2G network, which costs me in roaming data and means I have to constantly babysit which network my phone is connected to. Is there any way I can manually specify which networks my phone should connect to, in order of preference?
