Choosing an Android Phone Help

I would like to buy my first Android phone but I need some direction from the people. Here are my requirements:

1. Pocketable - not too big (4" screen is too big) or heavy
2. Great Camera with Flash
3. Quad Band
4. Good Talk Time
5. Android 2.1 or soon upgradeable would be a plus
6. Unlocked market

I looked at the HTC Wildfire but the camera reviews were mixed.
The Milestone XT720 looks like it has a nice camera but 160g sounds heavy.
The Aria is on AT&T and has no Flash.

So I have got it down to the HTC Legend or Nexus One. I have read that the optics in HTC phones in general are not that great.

The Nexus' camera is fairly decent for what it is. You can't expect too much from a phone, but for general point and shoot use, it's a just fine.

Are you looking for a high-end phone? The Legend has a rather crappy processor.

Crappy is relative to use and I will not be multitasking on the phone. Unless under normal operation (menu transitions, launching single apps) the phone is sluggish I doubt it will be a problem.

I do not need an SLR in a phone but I would like a nice camera and any basic flash
