Are we all in a turkey coma yet? That most flavoursome of meat Speaking of which, have a laugh at Michael McIntyre's take on Christmas food (skip to 2:20)

We don't do turkey for Christmas dinner. I think we only ever did that once or twice. Being of Italian descent, my family tradition is one of Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve. My Wife's family's tradition also involves over-indulgence on Christmas Eve, so Christmas day, no one generally wants a heavy meal. In fact, it's usually a day of reflection and recovery ... almost like step-12 of a 'program'.

Tonight's menu is a little pasta (spinach and ricotta ravioli) and a light salad. A bottle of wine will top off the evening so I can be nice and bright for work tomorrow.

Where I live, in Europe, the traditional meat for Christmas dinner is pork, not turkey. But yeah, I think many people overate, myself included. Haha! Hope your Christmas went awesomely!
