Help Chrome Bookmarks update is saving to mobile bookmarks folder

Since the new android update to chrome, i find that when i save a bookmark it is saved to the mobile bookmarks folder automatically.

How can i set it back to the desktop one so i can view them on all my android devices but also my desktop too?

I am having to go to the bottom of the page and press edit everytime to move them.
What am i missing?

I don't use that very often, but I think it's always been the default behavior to save to mobile bookmarks.

Go to chrome://flags and disable enhanced bookmarks.

You can hit the bookmark star a second time and it opens the bookmark for editing.

Seems a slow way to do things though. Much prefer Internet Explorer but Chrome is handy as I have Android gadgets.
So what is the correct way? Basically I use my android tablet more than I use my pc.
But want whatever I do in chrome on one to be available on the other.

There is a Mobile Bookmarks folder in Chrome on your PC also. On mine it's at the bottom of the list.

Thanks not noticed that. But a long way to scroll.
So what is the default set up for using bookmarks between android and pc? What do you all do?
Need some tips here lol.
