I'm running Android 7.0 on a Nexus 9 tablet. The Chrome browser frequently hangs with the message "Chrome is not responding" and gives me a choice to wait or kill the application. Sometimes I need to reboot the tablet. As a result, I avoid Chrome whenever possible, although it seems to be builtin to apps like google news, which does not give me the option to use a different browser. The problem may have existed prior to Android 7.0, but I have certainly noticed it happening a lot since the upgrade. Has anyone else noticed this? What should I do?
