Just wanted to say I hate firefox. That said, unfortunately fox-to-phone seems to have something chrome-to-phone, superior clipboard functionality.
I hate text messaging. I have big thumbs and mistype half the time. So today I wanted to type something in on my6 PC, then send to the phone to paste into an SMS. I couldn't figure out how to do that with Chrome. The only text that Chrome-to-phone will send is text that is actually part of a webpage. I even went so far as to typing it into the google translator, and selected the uneditable text on the next page, but it still submitted the page URL.
With fox-to-phone there is a contextual menu on ANY text I select, whether it is part of the page or something I typed into a search field. I right-click and select "Send this text to Android" and voila. I can send SMS in half the time even with the time it takes to get it sent to my phone and pasted. For short SMS, I will bumble through it, but for ones of a 3 or more sentences, fox to phone saves a load of frustration. Fix this GOOGLE!
