Help Chrome windows automatically deleting after marshmallow 6.0.1 update ???

Ever since my nexus 6 updated to Android 6.0.1 marshmallow, the chrome windows I have open will automatically delete after about 15 windows are open.

Before the update, I could have about 40 windows open in chrome.

After the update, when I have about 15 windows open in chrome, if I open another chrome window, it will delete the oldest chrome window automatically.

Is there any way I can change it back so I can have more windows open or change it to where at least it will warn me that I have too many chrome windows open and allow me to choose which ones to close instead of automatically deleting the oldest?

I've searched the webs and the forums and can't find an answer since it's relatively new issue.

I've also checked all the settings menus in chrome and settings menus in the phone and can't find any options.

Thanks for the help!

Could be. With Windows 10 being a download hog, and ISP caps, Chrome could be trying to play it safe to avoid conflicts in the future. There are apps to consolidate tabs somehow.

Could also be a bug. Here's the same complaint except it's on Linux.

I've seen complaints on Windows from people with over 100 tabs open. How do you keep track of which one is which when you can't see them?
