I am having problems with the cursor in chrome.
It shows up in the search bar only once then disappears for the next search.
If i close the tab or open a new tab it appears but once again only for one search.
Anybody else getting this?
 
If possible make sure your device and chrome has it's lastest updates, and it's a good practice to clear Chrome Cache settings in keeping it free of clutter from previous websites and search results history. Just go to your device >Settings>Apps>Chrome>cache and clear. Then restart the device sould fix that issue.
Some devices has a cursor speed setting that can be sped up or slowed down with the cursor flash intervals. The settings for this option veries from device to device.

I had already tried all that but its no different.
I changed keyboard,reinstalled chrome but no good.
I also have opera running with no problems.
It seemed to be from when chrome updated
 
What device are you using, and if you're using a android device, how did you Uninstall chrome browser from your device?

its a hudl2 android tablet.i uninstalled from the apps on the settings page.i have opera browser on the tablet and no problem.i even uninstalled the keyboard - gboard but that didnt help.puzzles me

OK so I take it that chrome wasn't the device stock browser?

Yes, agree I used this quite frequently and it's fast and it has a lot of optimizations in the settings. Try some more apps from F-DROID. These developers structure their apps around privacy and they really work very well. don't forget to give a thumbs up on things that you like this is how people get their rank in this forum.

Only thing is it doesnt save passwords so i have to keep signing into facebook etc.
No problems with the cursor though so it must be a problem with chrome
