Chromecast, no internet, no wifi, no router

I am in a cabin in some remote mountains for a couple weeks. I have:

1 samsung galaxy s7 with many movies
1 another galaxy s7
a chromecast
a non-smart tv with hdmi in

i have no internet except very spotty cell service. I can run into town (radio shack or kmart) to get any cable or device needed. How can i play my movies on my TV?

You may be able to create a hotspot on your phone, connect the Chromecast to that, and then cast local media directly to it.
