Circles not updating?

So I just joined today...

I have now 13 people in my circles. According to my profile, only two have me in their circles. However, I know for sure this is wrong as a friend of mine just updated his page with a photo of the circle I am in, and he is not one of the two listed as having me in a circle.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Am I missing something?

And oddly enough, if I go to this person's page, I show under "in Gabriel's circles" however not under "have Gabriel in circles" even though I do. I wonder if I am missing something really elementary.

I am having the exact same problem. Anyone know what's going on?

Basically, when someone adds me, it shows up in their profile but not mine. When I add someone, it shows up in my profile but not theirs.

same problem here. i'm not having the issue on an android device (iphone user), but in the browser. no matter if chrome, firefox or safari. the only thing that seems to help, is to restart the computer. logging off g+ or quitting the browser(s) does not help. it's really puzzling.
