Clear cache on all apps?

I searched and found many posts regarding clearing cache. But didn't find this answer. Is there a way to clear cache on all apps at once?

I went thru the settings/applications/manage apps, and checked and cleared cache on many, but this is real tedious, but seemed to give great results. Phone feels much faster. (NOT ROOTED) Psychological? Dunno, but question still stands, does anyone know an easy way to do this? Additionally, is there any risk of clearing cache from any apps?

Thanks

Use caution, I remember reading clearing the cache of some apps and you might lose some data... I usually do one at a time and look to see if the app is ok after. I definitely recommend the WEB Browser, that's a biggie.

:)

Wooo... edited to add:

hahaha I just checked my cache's (it's been a while) WEB browser was over 8 megs cache, Mail app was 12 megs... those 2 alone I cleared 20 megs, as I was down to 43 that's a good thing, lolz... All in all I'm at approx. 75 mb free... Just wanted to add that.

Thanks all, I guess I will just try to remeber to clear cache at a regular interval from the browser and email...at least until I decide to root.

Be careful with Cache Mate, like others above have said. If you get it, don't touch the Google Maps caches, as they can cause nagging problems.

Well... interesting that I checked settings within the browser and seen I had limited the cache to 4mb lol, so I'm wondering how when I went to Manage Applications in phone settings it showed the browser cache as being over 8mb... Haha not a biggie, just interesting and thought I'd let you all know about the discrepancies so as not to rely on the browser settings to take care of it (cache). That its good to check caches always... hehe. Anyway...

I have actually never had a problem with Google Maps using Cache Mate, however, when using Cache mate in conjunction with the "Move Cache for Root Users" app, I have experienced some force closes on the maps application. So all I did was keep the cache for Google Maps in memory instead of moving to sd with the move cache app and all works well.

I always go into manage applications and arrange by size, that way you can see the apps taking up the most space. Also clear the cache in the Album, when I first discovered clearing cache my Albums had like 7mb in it.

Doh! You are correct, good catch. I was confusing Cache Mate and TA Utility.

You're right, I've never had problems with Cachemate in that regard. Thanks for helping me from spreading misinformation!
