Root Clockwork cannot mount anything

I finally got it to go into recovery reliably, but it cannot mount /sdcard/ or /data, and freezes when trying to wipe data. Despite the new rom being in the root of the internal SD card it is not seeing it either.

I guess I have always had it easy with my phones, I never went through all this Now I actually have to learn something

Dammit: Now it gets stuck at the boot screen (Asus logo, circle spinning)

Clockworck Recovery cannot mount SD cards that are formatted as NTFS, must be FAT32. I've only been able to flash using Team Rouge's recovery for this reason.

Oops! NVM - I see you can't read the internal memory either.
