Just a suggestion as i feel the lounge atmosphere of the "Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release Thread" has been altered by the use of the hide button to place OT comments. I know there were quite a few complaints about all the OT comments and that the OP was updated with relevant rumors and facts so those just looking for only that could just look at the first page but yet.
Is there a way to make a clone button and create 2 threads. 1 titled "Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release Thread" which would just contain strictly on topic information/rumors/questions and the 2nd titled "Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release Lounge"
Any pertinent posts in the Lounge will post to the Thread.
If Steven58 for example posts a rumor from The Source he can press the clone button and it will then post in the Thread as well.
I think this might keep both groups happy.
