Clone good ESN to bad ESN phone?

I have a bought and paid for Optimus V on Virgin but was looking to get a Evo 3d and I know bad esn usually mean they didnt pay or it was reported stolen. Ive spoken to sprint and the phone being sold on craigslist wasnt stolen just lapse of payments, so my question is Can I clone my good esn to the evo 3d and use it on VM without the 4G?

Aye, while agent13 has a knack for brevity, I think what you're asking is illegal and as such, we cannot provide support on this.

However, if Sprint said it was a lapse in payments, that should not preclude the person from selling the phone. So I'm not sure if you have a "bad" ESN to begin with.

I'd suggest contacting Sprint again and asking them what your options/remedies are.
