close internet tabs

How do you close tabs when you are navigating the web and get
Message telling u must close tabs before proceeding. HELP.
I have a Droid HTC Thunderbolt. Thanks

While I don't have that particular phone, there are only a couple of options, so I'll offer both of em.

1. Hit the X in the upper right corner of the browser tab - that should close the current tab.

2. If there isn't an X, select the multiple tab icon that is either to the right or left of the website bar. That should pull up all of your open tabs. Hit the X in the upper right corner of the ones you want to close.
