Closing apps

Hello.....please can anyone tell me how to close apps that have been opened & may still be running, on my iPhone i double clicked the button & it showed me what apps were still open & they could be closed from here.
Thanks :)

The Android operating system is designed to automatically stop applications that aren't in use after a said amount of time. Depending on the device you have - you can pull down the notification bar and tap quick settings - then tap total memory and "kill all."

BTW, Hello and welcome to Android Forums, janew. You'll find a lot of information available on your device inside its area of support.

I hope you'll find this place helpful. Cheers! :)

Jane, on behalf of the Staff and the Members here at AF we would like to welcome you, :ciao:, look around and enjoy. :congrats:

Also if you want to be able to connect to the Forums from your Android device, be sure to check out the free Phandroid app in the Google Play Market. Cheers!!!!
