Newbie
Hello, it's the newbie again!
In my last post to the lounge I asked if it would be possible to close a post that had been solved.
I received a reply from "unforgiven" saying "done". I notice that the sender was a Moderator.
Does this mean it has to be done by a Moderator?
if so, can it be done by contacting one directly, instead of a new post? If so how do I do it
Can solved posts ever be deleted, so freeing up forum space?

Thanks in advance,
raven4

You can always ask moderators to do that (just sen a message), but what becomes to closing and deleting.. It is not necessary and deleting "closed cases" isnt helping anyone else having the same question. It only causes that same questions are asked over and over again.

When you have solved your problem, the thread is still there for someone else having similar problem and usually stay open if someone else want to ask more about the same thing or need more help than already exist in the thread.

Hi Raven, and welcome to Android Forums!
Left in every post is a red triangle, you can click/tap to report a post. You can use it if you ever feel uncomfortable about a post (abusive language or spam for instance) or if you're the owner of that post and you wish it to be deleted. Forum staff will fix it for you then :)
