CM 12.1, set and unset lockscreen PIN

Hi, i'm having a problem with the CM 12.1 ROM on my Moto X Play. When using the same setup of Tasker+Secure Settings that worked fine on stock, i cannot set or clear the lockscreen PIN in CM 12.1.

Secure Settings has root access, is enabled under device administrators and system+ reports as "ok".

However, when i execute a set PIN / clear password task like i did under the stock ROM, nothing happens. The lock remains as last set by CM.

Is there some other way i could do this, via console commands or such? Google failed me, or i didn't input the proper questions.

Have you been able to find a solution in the meantime? I have the same issue and can't find a proper work around.

To this problem, no, since i have Marshmallow now. I am using the location based smart unlock there - which only works intermittently. I've gotten used to unlocking the phone a lot.
