Update:

Apparently, the zip file below can be flashed from recovery. (Thanks for the heads-up, Kolio!)

If the flash aborts, it may be because you've made modifications to the ROM like deleting system apps. You'll need to download the factory image (zip file), extract and flash system.img. (This will wipe all user data!) Then the zip will flash.

1. Download the update: cm-bacon-d22b777afa-to-0428073396-signed.zip, then move the zip file to the location where you have installed ADB and fastboot.
[If you've never done this, work through steps 1-3 of the OP here.]

2. Boot the phone into recovery.

3. Select option to sideload update via ADB.

4. From a command prompt, navigate to the folder where you have installed ADB and fastboot.

5. Type the following command:
Code:
adb sideload cm-bacon-d22b777afa-to-0428073396-signed.zip

In the command prompt window, you'll see a counter run up to 100%. After that, recovery will apply the update to the phone

6. [Optional] Wipe the cache partition and dalvik cache.

7. Reboot.

Note: This may break root. If it does, reinstall SuperSU from the Google Play Store and update it's binary. Alternately, you may need to re-root.

Got any idea if this will work w/TWRP installed,or,does it even matter,as its being pushed via fastboot?

There is a second small update (8.13MB) being pushed today. Go to Settings > About phone > System updates to get it.

This one does break root and uninstall SuperSU zip. Reinstalling SuperSU from the Play Store may work, but it will have to update the binary. Alternatively, you could re-flash SuperSU zip.

I'm not yet sure about the changes it brings, other than the script said it was updating my radio.

Try this zip that's flashable in recovery:

CyanogenMod 11S - Post #138 - XDA Forum

CyanogenMod 11S - Post #140 - XDA Forum

This is the method I used, worked flawlessly.
Would probably work best to have a near-stock ROM w/o any files/apks missing.

Immediately after booting up the update, the incremental update from CYANOGEN was pushed to my phone for d/l & install.

Can't say I've noticed any battery drain,at least not any difference pre-update.

However, any update that improves battery life is always welcome. ;)

the update is killing my battery but it might be because i only got the incremental update.

has anyone else experienced these:

no hide app option
can't get to settings with list button
can't use nav ring with hardware keys(scratch this as 25R doesn't allow this either)

no hide app option ←This is annoying
can't get to settings with list button You can customize this under Settings > Buttons
can't use nav ring with hardware keys Is this new to the update?

tried to get the function back in settings but there's no option for it in buttons. pressing the list button just brings up a menu where there is only wallpaper, widgets, and themes. apparently they replaced the settings option with themes.

all i know is i could use the nav ring with hardware keys on 25R.

By "list button" do you mean what CM11 labels "menu button" under Settings > Buttons, the left most capacitive key?

actually there's a list and a menu button, they both do the same thing in pulling up that same menu.

i'm also not able to have my lockscreen wallpaper be different from my homescreen wallpaper.

I got the big update, but never got the incremental. I'm suffering the battery drain. Hopefully the new OTA they push will fix it. Nice the see CM work to solve it quickly.

I performed a total restore on my 1+1 last night:

Downgraded to the xxxxxxxx22 update,unrooted/stock,BNIB condition.

Over the course of about two hours,I received the xxxxxxx25 update & the 11.0-XNPH30O update (ANDROID 4.4.4) w/the following Build Date: AUG 11 15:43:00 PDT 2014

It's been about 12 hrs. since the last update,so,I'm guessing the CYANOGENMOD Team is still hard @ work on the next update/patch for the battery drain issue.

I still am not seeing any battery drain, seems alright to me,but,as w/all things here,YMMV.

i just got the 4.4 update, only. I have yet to see the first small supplemental one . Kept mine plugged in when i am not using it.

do you mind telling me the procedure you used to go all the way back to bone stock?

Just use this toolbox here,it's got the xxxxxxxx22 firmware included, along w/stock recovery (64 GB ONLY).

I believe when I flashed the original firmware,it included the stock recovery as well, all in one step/flash.

Anyway,it probably wouldn't hurt to flash the stock recovery 1st (if on something other than stock recovery) & then the firmware, but,I'd check the how-to video from TK,he also states the method/steps for restoring back to stock.

I know some people frown on toolkits, but, this one works as advertised, so, might as well use it & keep it on your desktop just in case of the unexpected......
