CM13 Samsung Galaxy S5 "Video recording failed" on Snapchat

Hey Androidforums,

For the past few months I've been unable to take videos on Snapchat, with the common "Video recording failed" toast notification. I followed these steps but there are no options withing my Snapchat version (newest as of 2 Nov 2016) for video quality options. Is there any other way to fix this issue?
