C'mon now!! Don't Die!!

If you dl and run an app called Spareparts (it is free), you can see which apps in particular are draining your battery. Understanding what apps are using battery is typically more useful than just killing apps in general - it might be a live wallpaper for example.
 
My battery life is better without a task killer than with.
 
I just turned mine off this morning. Doesn't task-killing interfere with the performance of some apps or the phone? Even if you carefully select which apps to ignore, sometimes you miss some and then experience unintended results. If I'm wrong about this pls let me know.
