codecs for android samsung tablet

Hello,
I'm new using a tablet and I am trying to install some cods to watch movies and I can't find any...someone can help me?
 
Hello and welcome to the forums . I see you having a problem with a tablet . May i ask what kind of tablet you have and what problems is this tablet giving you.
 
Ok how are you dowloading what format . And on your external sd card do you have a folder named video .

I am downloading in avi, wmv and mp4. The mp4 is working but the others no! I am donloading it on torrets so it goes to a folder named torrent
 
Wait if you dl a torrent you will need to convert to mp4 or avi before you can watch . You dl to a tablet its worth dl as the mp4 to be seen . And torrents is to much space . Check to see if movie is mp4
 
Also may i ask what type of tablet is this . To watch other codecs you may want to try a apk called

VLC for Android (Android)
