Collected ZTE U960 info

As the ZTE960 is relatively new, and I have seached this board and further to find information on it, I thought it handy for others to collect here what I found.
Please add to it when needed, or correct when the information is outdated.

Speaking about SW:

The original ROMs weren't rock solid, and the original baseband SW for SIM1 had some incompatibility with certain SIMs.

All this is SOLVED thanks to our efforts.

There are still some minor glitches:

The received calls and SMS may be displayed with or w/o the international prefix

The USSD replies aren't working on SIM 1

The incoming SMS lacking a caller number are simply ignored by the default SMS client, an alternate SMS client fix this (fully on sim 2 and partially on sim 1)

The dual SIM management, like on the XT532, is relatively basic and is handled better on cheap clones.

Really not much for a single representative of his class, which is still in his infancy.

The ZTE-U960 is still the only dual sim Smarphone powerd by a powerfull Qualcomm SOC, and is still the only phone with a true dual radio.

The MT6575 that powers the A750 or the Zopo zp100 is still a question mark.

Hopefully it will fix the defects of the older brothers (lack of computational power, unavailability of data during a call, unavailability of SIM2 during the data transfer, high power consumption, and so on) but this has still to be confirmed by the users.

And when I say users, I mean users who already have experience with real smartphones, not first time adopters.

On the other hand the HTC looks like a real competitor, but be sure it will be priced higher than the ZTE, that nowadays is really pretty inexpensive taking in account what has to offer.

I agree about the size, less about ICS, which is IMO a sorta of vista of android (I have it on my droid 2 global), and the definition of "Super LCD" on HTC phones is just misleading, it's just marketing to justify the switch from AMOLED to LCD on the Nexus ONE.

I had a Desire Z, equipped with a "Super" LCD and its screen was not on par with the Milestone 1/2 panel, nor with the "no name" LCD present on the ZTE.

original phone from ZTE, one of the two major telecommunication companies in china, high quality, dual sim full active, can answer sim2 when sim1 is on call, 1G CPU and 4.3" WVGA screen, good battery, support GSM+GSM, GSM+WCDMA and TDSCDMA+WCDMA dual 3g, good for business people who travel between China and Europe, because in China, you can easy to buy a TDSCDMA sim card from china mobile. It also has Compass fucntion and dual microphone feather (allows to make clear voice talking in a noisy environment). 1GHZ cpu, supports skype video call.
Con:
it is expensive, and does not support USSD, etotalk said they are working on it.

5. Zopo ZP100:
LINK Etotalk
Pro:
MT6575 1GHZ CPU, skype video call, 4.3" QHD 540x960, 720P Video recording, and design is taking from HTC G20, looking good. Price is acceptable.
Con:
Does not support dual sim full active, company is not as big as lenovo or ZTE, rom resource and baseband update is depending on wheather it will be hot or not.

Извините! Я спрашиваю как во время разговора по одной симки позвонить с другой симки а кнопочка (добавить + ) сразу выключает мой микрофон то есть меня с кем сейчас разговариваю не слышат, ну и соответственно дозвонившись другому 1 сидит глухой потом можно переключить поменять местами на раза два у меня получилось что 2 абонента слышали друг друга но телефон завис в режиме разговора удалось выключить только вытащив батарейку вот так может при прошивке что то встало не так у меня была В10 перешил на В06 почему и спрашиваю на форуме может подскажут как быть. Чтоб меня слышали 2 абонента сразу враз и я мог с двумя разговаривать язык английского не знаю переводил как мог при помощи Сократа
