Colour calibration

Hi quite new to the Android scene, but having noticed the default settings on some Android phones and Tabs I ask.... is there any software/app that can be used to alter the colour balance as default on Android devices ?

I very much liked the Samsung Galaxy2 but noticed that the default colour on this device is not what I would choose. Working with colour calibrated monitors all day this rather "over done" version of true colour is quite a shock.

I have not noticed anything as yet that would allow variation to be created, but also note the growth in interest from the imaging areas in the hand held market. Would much prefer to preview colour on an Android Tab that had at least some truth to its rendition.

Anyone out there able to offer advice or suggestion ?

Not sure about a normal app that will do this, however, if you are willing to root your phone and use a custom ROM the Cyanogenmod team has color calibration in their ROMs.
