Apps com.google.android.voicesearch polluting logcat on Droid?

So I am trying to confirm that my program can log messages while running on my Droid, but the log is getting overrun by the following message (a bazzilion times a second):

W/AudioRecord( 4710): obtainBuffer timed out (is the CPU pegged?) user=00000000, server=00000000

Process 4710 is owned by com.google.android.voicesearch. Any ideas what may be going on?

Well, I tried the voice search and it kept on giving me connection errors. Rebooted the Droid and all is well; voice search works, no logcat pollution. Just like a PC, rebooting cures all...
