Coming from Sprint

I have had Sprint service, now with an EVO, am I am thinking of switching to Verizon for better phone coverage in Tierra Verde, FL.

My mail, calendar, and contacts are synced with my google mail account. I add ringtones, music, and photos to the EVO by just placing the files on my sd card.

I am assuming if I switch to an android phone such as the Thunderbolt I would not have any surprises. everything would be the same as on SPrint for daily use. Is this correct? Are there anythings on Verizon I should be aware of that I may not like?

TIA.

Allan

Verizon just switched to tiered data; so you will be paying $30 a month for a 2Gb cap. Everything you were worried about shouldn't be affected since that is android dependent and not the carrier.

Good. I had Verizon many years ago and they had all these restrictions - complicated ways of getting ringtones and contacts and backups. I am glad to avoid those.

Thanks.
