Comparison of the Cameras!

I'm looking to get a new phone during November/December, but I'm trying to find out the most I can right now so I know how much to save.

I know every phone on virgin mobile has a camera, but I'm more interested in phones with front facing cameras as well. As far as I know, iPhone 4(s), androids EVO's, and the triumph has front facing cameras. If there's any others, please let me know.

But basically, I want to know the picture quality of these cameras, especially when uploaded to social sites and the computer. I currently have the wildfire S and although it claims to take good pictures, it isn't really that good unless it has the perfect lighting.
I was looking to get the iPhone 4s since it claims to take the best pictures, but reading a few opinions, some people say its similar to the newest EVO? I really have no idea. And I also had the iPhone 3G, and that had pretty bad horrible picture quality. And that's why I need your help!
If anyone has any input on the quality of back and front facing cameras on virgin mobile phones, please post below. Especially if you can compare between iphone and EVO! I'm dying to finally take good pictures with my phone. I know this is a hard thing to answer, but anything would be appreciated. Thankyou!

well i have never used the iphone so i cant tell you much about it, but i have the evo v the front facing camera is not the best but its decent for apps like skype i believe its a 1.3 mp camera and when you take pictures with it ; it might stretch out a bit. if you want a good phone with a good front facing camera i suggest the galaxy s2 from boost if you want to stick with virgin go ahead and try the evo v front camera you may like it more than me as i am picky about that stuff, but if you don't like it i believe they have a 30 day return policy.

You're right.
The front facing camera is really nice for Skype & Tango. And in decent lighted situations, it's nice as well just for taking portrait shot of yourself.
I'm also with you on the S2. I had one one AT&T, and it was an excellent camera.

FWIW, the FFC on the Triumph is pretty basic. It works for video, in that someone can see you are alive/there, but the quality is very rough. If you want to take/upload pictures from the FFC, they will be like early flip-phone quality (640x480 and rough).

Also, Froyo didn't "officially" support a FFC, so some apps on the Triumph may not be able to use it. Skype worked, but Google Talk couldn't do video.

The iPhone 4/4s is pretty well regarded for picture quality, though I don't know if the same is true of its FFC. I don't think you'd be disappointed in the quality, though certainly there are other phones that can take better pictures.
