So far I've charged my G1 with two laptop's USB port using some old mini USB cables I have around, and USB charger that I used to use with my Blackberry pearl, they all work fine. My guess is any standard mini USB charger will work
So far I've been doing fine with generic USB charging devices,
such as a Kensington car-port to USB charger and the rechargeable
external battery listed on the t-mobile site.
Of course I haven't used the external battery long enough
to know whether it has a good lifespan, or any other durability
issues.
