I'm adding mp3 files to my website in embedded form so that visitors using a pc can just play songs rather than downloading them. The player itself is a .swf file (bog standard for this type of app) and is being embedded by routine html.
Ok, so the above is nothing to do with Android. But - Given that an android phone will play embedded youtube videos (also on my website), and has a flash player, and is capable of streaming, and has java, etc etc, why wont an Android phone play bog standard streaming mp3 files?
They work perfectly on a pc, but all that can be seen on a HTC Hero is the embed html code, ala style of Opera Mini. I'm used to Opera Mini being able to do nothing, but whats the problem with a high-wizzwam spec phone like the Hero?
