Completely new to android, help!

I'm completely new to android and am just going off of what I have read. I've been checking out stickys and such on a variety of forums but have yet to find what I need. Does anybody know of a FAQ or something for android-illiterate people? Kinda like a beginners guide to apps, rooting, etc, etc, etc.

these forums... your on them. they do that. all of it. just gotta use the search alot and read ALOT.

Your best bet is to search the forums, and if that fails just type what you want to do into google. There's a myriad of resources available on the internet, you just need to look for them.
