Root Confirm Root Genius for Venue 8

I wish I knew, I've bee looking for a root method everywhere! I just got the new 2014 Dell Venue 8 3840 and so far it has been great. Like the HD screen and high resolution, great quality. Prefer Android over the "Pro" Windows 8 version, but hopefully someone has this new version with the intel processor.I can provide file dumps for some develpers to start figuring it out, just let me know....Gotta have my root lol

I bought just before the 2014 release.. (hell) and has bugs with the touuch screen not responding sometimes and will have to lock and unlock it again... 2013 has a root method over xda but bit risky and lengthy...

Update. xda method works.

Tip: It says the device specific asset kit will unzip where it needs to be and that's not the case, at least on my pc anyway, go ahead and unzip it to the asset folder then run adb.

Worked like a charm. :D

This will work on straight out of the box?
Was it simple for a simple mind (older person)
Which XDA thread did you get the info from?

THANKS for any help.
