Conflicted!

I'm ready to ditch my BB & go Android ASAP. My NE2 is ready to go.

I initially wanted the Nexus One, but because I can't get it in a VZ store, I'm sure the NE2 won't apply.

Then I was intrigued by the Incredible, but I'm not sure I can be patient enough to wait for some kind of official announcement.

I then looked at the Eris, but the Droid seems to be the better choice between those two.

So I'm looking for advice from everyone else, who are all much smarter than I am, an admitted Android noob.

Should I hold tight & wait for the Incredible or go with the Droid? (Or another option altogether.)

You need to get into some stores and start playing with phones, then make up your own mind.
 
I had the BB storm original. I liked it but often said if I had to save the world I'd be dead. ;) cause it was so slow. I have the Moto Droid and I love it. Verizon only had two choices. I wanted to save money and chose the lower priced one but the Droid got me on the flash. I do a lot of video and pics so the camera did it for me.

It is a tough decision cause if you have a contract you live with the phone a while, but see if you can find someone with one and play with it a while. Best!
 
If you can wait, wait.
If you have a legitimate reason why you cannot wait, go droid. You won't be disappointed. I was waiting for the N1 or Incredible last week, but it wasn't released. I needed a phone ASAP so I went with the droid. Great phone.

You think this is true? I really want to get the N1, and I think I want it over the Inc, but if I can't use my NE2 I'll be very disappointed.

It basically comes down to whether you can wait or not.

I've personally been waiting for so long now... I passed on the Droid so I can hold on a little longer. Although I have 4 Droids on my family plan and I'm getting jealous of my friends' phones.
