Connect Android Phone to Android Box

Setup:


Android Phone Motorola G5/ G4 Plus: Ver 7.0 and Kodi installed

MXQ Box (Android Box with 6.0) : 905x PRO, Factory Setting

Objectives:

1. Want to stream/cast Kodi to MXQ Box

2. Want to stream/cast other app (like netflix, amazon prime) to MXQ Box

The solution involves putting password every time on Android Box. Can we have some some neater and more effective solution which gives good speed over wifi?

Quite frankly the only other one I know is what came with my JmGO Android DLP mini-projector. Where I install the client app on my Android phone and it casts to the Android projector over Wifi. However it's Chinese only.

Any reason why you can't just install and run Kodi, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. directly on the MXQ Android box rather than trying to cast them from the phone?

Thats the way it was but the box seems under powered to handle all these apps. Secondly it was getting very cumbersome to run box with the remote given.

Any solution around dlna or miracast?
