Help Connect by bluetooth to PC

Hi

My MS2 discovers the PC but can't pair with it. My PC discovers the MS2 but can't pair with it.

I've tried the usual PINs:- 0000 and 1234 but didn't have any joy.

Anyone found the way to do this? Again nothing helpful in the User Manual.

Thanks in advance

Not tried this myself but wondering why you want to do this, is it for file transfer as you mentioned in another thread as I'm not sure that would work terribly well.

If you just want to transfer files one of the options when you connect that comes up via the Moto software is to mount the sd card as a usb mass storage device so it would appear as a drive in windows etc and be easy to copy files to.

Obviously still doesn't explain why you can't pair with the pc in the first place.... My MS2 pairs happily with my bluetooth headphones.

Hiya Kanka, thanks for replying

I'm guessing that's what that connectivity in the MS2 has been configured for. (I must ask you somewhere about Bluetooth stereo headsets)

A common puzzlement I get. My answer to it though is why not?

Why would I not want to use the connectivity to connect with any device that has a (professed) connectivity option?

mount the sd card as a usb mass storage device so it would appear as a drive in windows .

Thanks !! It would never have occurred to me that I would have to do that because .... err ... a MicroSD IS a mass storage device! Isn't it?? If not, then what is it? RoFLMAO I was wondering why nothing appeared to be on the phone when I looked at it from within File Manager.

I had hoped an Android device, would free me from dependency upon "proprietary" connecting software/file types etc. I know MS is one such but its ubiquitousness makes it more than that.

Is there any other way to get the SD card to be visible?

I've uninstalled MOTO. It hogged the PC processor and I don't need/want synching with social networks etc.
