connect dongle to nexus 7

Hey guys not sure if this been posted on this specific subforum i searched but perhaps my wording did not present any sure results. anyways if this was posted already let me know and ill merge my post. or any other guide or mod may do so. so with that being said just wanted to share this with ya nexus 7 users and see if any of you guys that do indeed have a 3g dongle or 4g dongle can get their device to connect to it via otg usb adapter.

I'm not sure if a phone counts as a dongle, but most 3G and 4G smartphones allow tethering and portable hotspots.

I use a MiFi (from Three in the UK but I've unlocked it so I can use an data SIM) and it works a treat. Saves draining the battery in the Nexus, too

yes but for those that dont have a phone that can tether or dont have tethering plans this would be considered plan b
