Connect multiple devices to Sony Experia Tab Z

I own a Sony Xperia Tablet Z. There are 2 things i'm trying to do.

1. I also have a wireless mouse and keyboard which i'm trying to connect to the Tab along with power cable as well.
2. I'm trying to connect my 1 TB WD External Hard Drive to the Tab.

Facing issues in both these cases. Is it possible to do any or both these options and how? To my knowledge, I can say i have the necessary connectors required.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions n help :)

Are the wireless mouse and keyboard bluetooth, or do they use some proprietary dongle? I'd think you'd have a reasonable chance with bluetooth, very unsure otherwise.

According to a web search the Xperia Tablet Z has USB OTG (On The Go) support, so the external hard drive should work. However, you'll probably need a separate power supply for the drive - usually these devices USB ports don't provide enough current to power a spinning hard drive.

Thanks Hadron and promo87.

Both wireless mouse and keyboard are not based on bluetooth. They have separate wireless receivers to be connected to the tab. If i connect either of them (only one at a time) to the TAB it works, whereas nothing happens when both are connected.

I get the external hard drive part.
