connect samsung galaxy s2 to computer with windows 7 operating system

Hello and welcome to the forums!
You should only need to plug the USB in to the computer and in to the phone... there should be an otpion (maybe if you pull down the notification bar at the top of the screen) to "connect as USB mass storage" or something like that. If you select that, your computer should detect your phone as a normal USB drive.
If this hasn't helped, you might like to check with other owners of the same phone. I do not know which version you have, so have linked all possibilities - select the right one for you:
