Ok so I'm running my own FTP server and it works well when I use my other windows machines to connect to it remotely.
However, with my Nexus 5, I tried using ES File Manager as a client; though it connects to the server, it times out because I dont think the ports necessary to communicate between the Nexus 5 and the server is open.
I use 2121 as the FTP port and 41000-46000 as the passive port range. I want to know how to enable these ports in the Nexus 5 as you would in a full fledged desktop operating system
