Connecting Seamlessly with Laptop/Server

All,

I downloaded and installed SAMBA on my LG Stylo but cant get it to configure correctly. Is there a better app? All my computers run Kubuntu Linux, so must work on that OS and the LG!

If SAMBA is the only good answer then where is a good config HOWTO for setup on Droid? All the SAMBA config HOWTO's I've found have been for the computers not droid, which is why it's not right yet!

All help appreciated!

Cheers!

Take a look at 'KDE Connect'. You'll need to install the app on your Stylo and the equivalent on your Kubuntu PCs.

I have it on my Slackware PC and it works out really well. Still, when not at home I find myself using AirDroid, as it only requires the AirDroid app on my phone and interacts via WiFi solely through a web browser interface so it makes no difference what operating system the target computer is running.
