Maybe my questions will sound naive to some people, but I am really curious on how one could do the following?
Say you have a set of sensors (for example a finger pulse oximeter), from which you would like to get measurements continuously to your G1 phone and then do something with those data, e.g. visualize them on the phone, create alerts etc.
Say also that the sensors are Bluetooth-enabled. Since Bluetooth data transfer with the current version of the phone and the Android SDK is not supported, could this be done via any other way? For example if the sensors had also a USB output? But what if you had more than one sensor?
In that case you would need to form a Bluetooth piconet with the G1 serving as a master and gathering data from all the sensors. Any insight about whether this is going to be supported after the "cupcake" update?
Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I apologize to the moderators if my questions have been posted in a wrong section of the forum... please move it to a more appropriate one in case u see this comment.
